Behind the scenes: my life apart from singing and acting.

Mi vida Personal- Paula Valiño

Hello! It’s a pleasure that you’re reading this because it means you’ve stumbled upon my little corner of the web: My Wonderings.

A place where I want to share my personal life, not only by revealing my dreams and aspirations but also by sharing my anecdotes, reflections, and everything that makes me feel alive in this world.

Nice to meet you, I’m Paula Valiño Andreu, and I don’t want to label myself because I’m sure that after getting to know me, you’ll be able to describe me better than I can. I was born and raised in Valencia, a city I adore.

I love many things about Valencia. The first and most important is that my entire family is there. For me, family is EVERYTHING, and you’ll see that as we go along. My friends are also there. The ‘lifelong’ ones. The ones I’ve grown up with and those who know me like a sister. Just beacuse of all these people, it’s worth living in Valencia.

And, well, if we start talking about the beach, the good weather year-round, paella, the Fallas festival, my tennis club… I could go on and on, and I’m not moving.

But of course, not everything can be so perfect. Because even in stories, there are problems, and things go awry…

What’s mine? My absolute passion for acting (as I mention here).

And, of course, where can you train and work as an actress? In my opinion, not in Valencia.

So, two years ago, after completing my international baccalaureate (I’ll talk about it in another Wondering), I decided to pack my things and move to the city that never, ever sleeps: Madrid.

I’ve always been a very curious person. In fact, my grandmother laughs when she tells me that at a year and a half, I couldn’t stop asking ‘why?’ about everything she said or showed me. My grandmother: ‘Your father has gone to work.’ Me: ‘Why?’. My grandmother: ‘That thing there is called an apron.’ Me: ‘Why?’

Why am I telling you this? Because since I arrived in Madrid, I’ve let myself be guided by that curiosity and the adventure of discovering everything the city has to offer. In the first few months, I may have let myself be carried away too much – but that’s something I might share in another one of My Wonderings.

I love strolling through all its streets, experiencing its different environments, trying its countless restaurants (I LOVE eating), and going out to its bars and nightclubs.

Madrid has given me a lot. It’s been a life entirely different from Valencia’s. Not better, not worse. Very different. And there, I’ve also found my places and my people who are my HOME.

Two years have passed since I moved, and I see myself as a completely different person. I’ve learned a lot about life, and there’s still much more to learn.

I don’t like getting stuck in a routine. It bores me. I need constant stimulation, and those who are with me know it. I want to explore the world; I’m not satisfied with staying at home. I want to travel, immerse myself in other cultures, speak the languages I know and learn many more, try different dishes, engage in new activities, meet LOTS of people, and enjoy. Enjoy a lot.

There’s only one life, and I want mine to be as TOP as possible.

So, here I leave you with this brief introduction to my personal life. I hope you enjoy, learn, and, if possible, get inspired by what I’ll be sharing. And please, don’t hesitate to share any opinions, reflections, or anecdotes with me. Nothing would make me happier than getting to know your story.

My journey starts here!

See you along the way.
